Bonfires cause pollution and can cause health problems in all ages. Pollution from bonfires undermine schemes such as ULEZ, and can be harmful for those who have breathing issues.

I have a health condition that affects my lungs, like many others. People being able to have bonfires affects the air that we breathe. People are burning all sorts of pollutants and bonfires can also be antisocial, including to people trying to dry washing outside instead of using electricity or gas drying it inside. The NHS will face an increased burden if more people develop breathing conditions due to bonfires.
