Closed Increase protections for clearing of wildlife habitats

We want the Government to put more protection in place to protect important wildlife habitats from development. Require planning permission for any clearing of wildlife habitats, and increase penalties for developers who fail to get permission for this.

We believe the law is not adequately protecting mature wildlife habitats from clearance prior to planning permissions being considered or granted. Land is often cleared at the expense of the wildlife and their habitat.
