We urgently call on the Government to set stronger emission reduction targets and increase investment in renewable energy, transition to electric transportation and sustainable agriculture. It should also end fossil fuel subsidies to combat climate change and secure a sustainable future.
The Government must act decisively on climate change due to its profound impact on our environment and society. Overwhelming scientific consensus points to rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and biodiversity loss. Urgent action is needed to mitigate these effects and transition to a sustainable, green economy. We call upon our leaders to heed this call for the sake of current and future generations.
