Closed petition Ensure student nurses are paid whilst they are on clinical placement

We want nursing students working placement hours to be paid. Even if this is an apprentice wage, it should mean that students don't have to work additional jobs - which could affect their performance when on duty as student nurses - to keep up with cost of living.

I feel students should be paid whilst on clinical placement to prevent burnout and improve the safety of patients.
