We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Require a public vote before the UK can become involved in a foreign conflict

We want a public referendum/vote on engaging in any foreign conflict. This does not include if the UK is under attack.

More details

Any conflict, for example Ukraine or Palestine, would need public backing for our government to support. Be it financially or physically with our troops.

I want the citizens of the UK to be able to stop our Government becoming involved in conflicts that are not supported by the public. The Government should need a majority vote by the citizens of the UK to spend public funds financially backing a side or sending our armed services into battle. We the public demand a option not to enter a conflict which does not directly involve our territory or civilians. A public vote must be activated!
