Petition Extend the school summer holidays to eight weeks
I want the government to make it a legal requirement that children have an eight week summer holiday from school.

I think that the extra two weeks off of school will really help the next generation as school can be very stressing, meaning that they may need a longer break to relieve the stress. For those attending new schools/moving to a new year group, it may be very hard to regulate their stress so the two weeks gives them more time to think it through.
