Closed Mandate 50% UK Hiring for UK Bases of Non-UK Companies

We petition the government to implement a mandate requiring that UK bases of non-UK companies operating in the UK must hire at least 50% of their workforce from people already resident in the UK. We believe this policy is necessary to protect UK jobs.

We urge the UK government to seriously consider this petition and implement the proposed mandate. We believe that doing so will safeguard UK jobs, develop domestic skills, strengthen the national economy, and create a fairer business environment for all companies operating in the UK.
