We would like the Government to provide a 50% reduction in council tax for all households that are hosting Ukrainian families. We believe the reduction in council tax would ease the financial burden on host families, and could make it more feasible for them to provide assistance to those in need.

By easing the financial burden, this reduction could encourage more families to participate in humanitarian efforts, fostering a culture of compassion and solidarity within communities. We believe it's a tangible way for the Government to support and incentivise acts of kindness and hospitality during times of crisis.
