Rejected petition Increase funding for SEN children's education and training for education leaders

Children - neurodiverse struggle in schools due to the lack of awareness. More research and awareness should be made, since they're innocent children with SEN, who are either being excluded from education or discriminated against. Teachers should be trained to be more understanding and inclusive.

More details

More awareness should be made into the different types of SEN children and the stigma + discrimination consequently. These children are not choosing to being naughty/act different to neurotypical children it is something they are born with! But have face negative consequences due to being neurodiverse in education since do not suit norm. SEN children have the same rights to be educated but often ignored. This needs to change and educations providers trained so SEN children have a fair education.
