Petition Introduce ethical standards for acceptance of political donations

I want the UK Government to introduce legislation requiring political parties to refuse or return donations made by individuals who are proven to promote hateful views, including those that are racist or misogynistic.

We believe accepting money from such individuals not only legitimises their harmful ideologies but also undermines the principles of equality and tolerance that are fundamental to our society. I urge the Government to take a stand against hate and impose ethical standards on political parties regarding their funding sources.
