Closed Create a new short-term benefit for workers who aren't entitled to Sick Pay

I would like any tax-paying worker in the UK who is not entitled to Sick Pay to be able to access a new short-term benefit when under a doctor's note until they are well enough to go back to work. We want the Government to support all workers to get back to full health.

People work hard to pay tax and provide for their country, so their country needs to support them and their families in times of ill-health. We want the Government to take action to ensure the entire workforce is looked after, so the system does not collapse.
