I want the government to regulate Builders and other trades people who at the moment work under common law. I want them to be accountable for their work, to be insured and how they seek work, invoice and provide estimates to their customers.I want the courts to be able to prosecute Trades people who do not provide written estimates or bills before agreeing work to commence. This will do away with fraudulent activities and protect the householder, if building work goes wrong.
