Raise the penalty.

There should be a greater deterrent for individuals who consider carrying a knife in public to cause harm to others. Knife crime is taking too many lives. The best way for the government to prevent and protect the public is to raise the penalty for being caught carrying a knife from 4 years to 10 years.
