Petition Ban certain face coverings in public

This is aimed at balaclavas and other masks used by individuals to conceal their faces, whilst committing crimes.
We are concerned how widespread this is, with gangs using intimidating behaviour to commit crimes against the general public.

We think many areas have been turned into no go zones, where violent criminals go unpunished, due to not being able to positively identify who these individuals are.

Before this gets rejected for all the wrong reasons, I would like to stress that this does not include religious coverings or medical face masks.
