We believe that the UK Government should petition the international "Quartet" of world powers (the United States of America, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations) to terminate the appointment of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair as Special Peace Envoy to the Middle East in the light of his failure to achieve any positive outcome to world peace and his continued controversial comments inviting the settlement of conflicts in the Middle East by the use of military intervention.
