I believe Yorkshire should break away and become an independent country.

For so long Yorkshire has been the benchmark for the whole of the United Kingdom.

Yorkshire would cope without Britain but Britain wouldn't be able to cope without Yorkshire.

From captain James Cook to Pudsey the bear, Yorkshire has transformed Britain into a thriving union.

I'm a proud Yorkshireman and I feel my fellow Yorkshire folk will see the benefits of an independent Yorkshire.

We are Yorkshire and proud, come on chaps and lasses, let's make history and seek an independent Yorkshire
