Currently carer's allowance affects income based welfare. Carer's allowance is deducted from income based welfare like universal credit and Income based ESA.
I think this is unfair because I believe it unfairly penalises carers and their families who rely on income based welfare.
Treating carer's allowance in this way can lead to financial struggles for households.
