Rejected petition For the UK Government to recognise the State of Palestine

The UN has recently granted the State of Palestine a permanent seat at the General assembly.
The UK is out of step with the majority of other countries in the world that recognise Palestine.
Peace in the ME region is in part dependent upon the implementation of the two state solution.

More details

The UK states it backs a two state solution but doesn’t do the most concrete thing, recognising Palestine, in bringing this about.
The UK supported a ‘Jewish homeland’ in the Balfour Declaration of 1917, in Palestine it’s long past time it recognised it also supported the Palestinian state that was also part of the subsequent 1948 UN resolution partitioning Palestine.
