Rejected petition: Abolish Inheritance Tax

Rejected on

Would like the Labour Government to abolish inheritance tax, as I don’t really think it’s acceptable for the government to tax grieving families. The families already have the high costs of having to arrange and pay for funeral arrangements etc.

So why should the government be entitled to the grieving families inheritance? It is wrong and disrespectful.
