That is why this petition calls for a referendum on achieving Net Zero targets. Let the people decide the path towards a sustainable future, one which we think is the best way for our taxes being spent and the countryside to be protected.

    The House of Commons Energy Security and Net Zero Committee is running an inquiry into Building Support for the Energy Transition.

    It is inviting members of the public to join a small, face-to-face group discussion in Central London to share views on the shift from fossil fuels to clean, renewable energy sources.
