Do something to protect the young girls in Iraq now they have proposed to lower the age of consent to 9 years old. This is horrifying news and something the world and its powerful leaders should fight against now to protect these children.

9 years old is a child, they can't understand consent let alone give it, this is purely making child marriage and rape legal and that is truly horrifying. This is a world issue and our powerful leaders need to be stepping in now before the law is passed to please protect these young children.
