There are many young people who are highly uninterested in British politics, which a lot of the time can lead to wasted votes as people either do not vote or they vote based on how much they like the leader's character.

The key stage 3 and 4 curriculums for Citizenship already include teaching about democracy, government and how laws are made and upheld.
