Open Review how military considers mental health of potential recruits

I would like the government to review how the military considers medical fitness and previous mental health conditions of potential recruits. I would like this review to consider how references could be used to support applications.

Many people with previous mental health issues are turned away from the army, we feel without proper consideration. Many of these people would be capable and willing, and would expand our army and contribute to our society as capable soldiers and as people leaving the army with a trade to make use of within society. As we face shrinking forces numbers, we think this is a viable solution with positive consequences.
