Rejected petition: To implement a modernised law against Spiking and action on how to prevent it

Rejected on

We urge the government to take harsher measures in punishments and preventing Spiking from happening.

If this is through regulation or training, ways must be trialed to reduce or cease the amount of cases yearly.

2.2% of adults have reported being spiked in the last 12 months showing how crucial it is a newer law be implemented to punish this assault than the current one in 1861 (Offences against the person act).
