Place a cap on the interest that student loans companies can place on student loans. This should be applied to new and old student loans.
The interest on some student loans is extortionate which means that those who require loans are amassing huge depts. People will be charged for long periods of their lives, often paying back far more than they ever borrowed.
Higher education should be accessible to all without the worry of being charge extortionate amounts for the rest of their lives.
