Rejected petition: Launch a full public inquiry into the rape gangs scandal
Rejected on
To launch a full, transparent, and independent national inquiry into the industrial-scale rape and grooming of young British girls. The inquiry must examine the systemic failures of institutions, local authorities, law enforcement and political leadership that allowed these crimes to take place.
Victims have endured unimaginable suffering, and an inquiry must uncover whether those entrusted with their protection—law enforcement, local councils, authorities, and political leaders—failed in their duties or deliberately suppressed investigations to avoid controversy.
Only a national inquiry can deliver full accountability, justice for survivors, and the systemic reforms needed to ensure such failures are never repeated.
