More details

Should parents say they do not have the means to pay, the CSA should have the ability to demand or automatically access their business and personal accounts In order to regain missed or back payments immediately. Why was this petition rejected?

We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.

We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.

The Child Maintenance Service can already consider the taxable reported profits of a self-employed parent, and there are circumstances where a paying parent will be required to provide bank statements as evidence. A receiving parent can also report to the Child Maintenance Service if they believe the paying parent is hiding income, and in complex cases a report can be made to the Financial Investigations Unit for investigation.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
