Rejected petition Stop party leaders removing the whip when MPs vote in Parliament.
MPs are elected to represent their constituents in Parliament but this seems to have been forgotten with MPs often whipped to vote along the Party line and this is unacceptable in a democracy.
More details
During elections, the British public vote for who they want to represent them in Parliament however, once elected, MPs are told how to vote by their Party whip. If MPs are not carrying out the will of those who elected them, then we no longer have a democracy and live under a dictatorship.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
