Rejected petition Allow communities in England and Wales to use beavers for flood management
Beavers, the greatest watercourse engineers on the planet, can help communities to slow the flow of water across river catchments, thereby protecting them from flooding, at very low cost. Beavers increase water storage protecting against drought, increase biodiversity and improve water quality.
