Grooming gangs, often involving child exploitation, have been reported in several UK cities. These criminal gangs have been responsible for widespread abuse and exploitation of young people. Despite the seriousness of the issue, there has been inconsistency in how investigations are conducted and how perpetrators are prosecuted.
To identify systemic failures and ensure that those responsible for these crimes are brought to justice."
