Closed petition Care More Earn More - tax exemption on bank shift and overtime for NHS Nurse, Midwife, HCA
Closed on
100% TAX EXEMPTION on Bank shift / Overtime for NHS Nurses, Midwives, Healthcare assistants
a lot of NHS nurses, midwives and HCA tend to leave and just do agency work.. Many of them are dedicated Nurses Midwives and HCAs who could do the same caring service for their own hospitals, but are forced to accept the fact that finances are also a priority... by being an Agency employee one will pay less tax and take home more pay.
If the NHS employee's overtime/bankshift is untaxed it will be the same pay as an agency's.
Benefits:
*SAFETY: As more nurses stay in their respective Units. familiarity with equipment and protocols will decrease the chances of errors
*Continuity of Care for patients/Service user.
*Boost in Public Morale
*An increase of Agency nursing/Midwifery coming back to the NHS
* LESS absence... as they cant do OT if sick
* MORE service, longer years.
*Economic boost.
* prevention of chronic nursing shortage
* SERVICE Improvement
* a rejuvenated NHS
