Closed Increase funding for ARFID treatment

We think that everyone who needs it should be able to access treatment for ARFID. I think funding should be increased for the treatment of ARFID.

We demand that the Eating Disorder Services be inclusive of ARFID - as should be the basic human right of anyone suffering. We believe too many people are falling through the cracks in the system. We believe that ARFID individuals deserve equal rights to treatment and the chance to recover from this life-threatening disorder.

    Eating Disorders Awareness Week: debate in Parliament

    On 26 February, MPs held a debate in Parliament on Eating Disorders Awareness Week.

    This was a Westminster Hall debate led by Wera Hobhouse MP. Health and Social Care Minister Dr Zubir Ahmed MP responded on behalf of the Government.

    He said the Government is working to strengthen skills and capability across mental and physical health services, and mentioned that NHS England has introduced a range of measures that include dedicated training on ARFID.
