Rejected petition I object to the cancellation of local elections.

Suspend the cancellation of local elections until a public consultation has taken place. Restore the elections of all counties for this year.

Because it is meddling with the demcractic rights of the people of England. Especially the Southern counties.
This is manipulation of democracy to suit one party who are afraid of the strong emergence of a challenger party and should be open to public consultation first.
