Stop reparations. We have payed enough in stopping slavery.

Because it will bankrupt the country and will put an even bigger burden on generations to come. It could also open the floodgates to more countries wanting reparations.

In response to a parliamentary question on 25 February, the responding Minister outlined that the Government would not be making cash transfers and payments for slavery reparations to the Caribbean.
