Rejected petition Enforce a company profit margin cap of no more than an equitable & fair amount.

To introduce and enforce a maximum profit margin that is auditable and punishable if exceeded. companies should not be allowed to raise the cost of good & services by more than a certain percentage in one year and shrinkage shopped be stopped. goods should be monitored to enforce cost reduction

More details

Companies are not being monitored to encourage reduction in costs. Also goods prices are shrinking, however, the costs are staying the same and that cannot be right or fair. Also, where prices are going up for events like the Ukraine war, they are not coming down again so companies continue to gain profits. This is unethical and unfair. There needs to be an equitable and social check on this and companies should face consequences for profiteering
