Closed Give police more power to defend us and themselves

As seen by people around the country the police do not have the power to stop Criminals, Rioters and Vandals when they are in numbers and have weapons and Missiles to throw.

I propose that the Police, like that of the EU be given more power to deal with events like this.

What the Police should be able to do/use:
- Water Cannons (like permitted in France)
- Be able to use Force by reasonable means to get the situation under control (This includes Baton rushes to issue mass arrests)
- Rubber Bullets
- Tasers issued to more police without the worry of actually being able to use them.

Everyone has Human rights but when a person threatens the life of other, they have forgotten and abused other peoples Human rights to be safe in their streets and homes.
