We call upon the government to fully implement the recommendations of the Independent Review of Pornography Regulation that was published on the 27 February 2025. We think the government should act now to help protect both our young women and young men from this industry and content.

Pornographic content that is free to view and easily accessible has become increasingly violent, degrading and misogynistic. The average age people first see pornography is 13, very often by accident.

Home pages of many mainstream pornography sites display content that is sexually violent or promotes incest. There is an increasing body of evidence showing this is harmful for the sexual development of our youth. We want the government to act now to safeguard our children from this industry.
