Require all UK schools to display full nutritional data for every meal served, in addition to allergen information. We think this should include:
Calories
Vitamin and mineral content
Macronutrients
Sugar, salt, and saturated fat content
Ingredient sourcing

We think parents, students, and school staff deserve clear information about what children are eating.
With over 25% of UK children overweight or obese, we think transparency would help promote healthier eating habits.
Supporting Special Dietary Needs: Many students have allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions that require specific nutritional management.
Encouraging Schools to Improve Standards: When meal data is visible, we think there is a greater incentive for schools to offer nutritious, balanced options.
