Rejected petition Recognise the term "Foid" as sexual harassment.
The term "Foid" is used typically by very misogynistic men who have no value for women, and such language should be legally punishable.
More details
In a time where violence against women is considered an epidemic, terms like this need to be cracked down on, and legal measures need to be taken to fix the violent rhetoric towards women at the most basic of levels, while actions like this won't fix things overnight there needs to be accountability held for hate speech such as this.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
There is no list of words that are agreed to constitute sexual harassment if they are used. It is up to the courts/tribunals to determine in individual cases whether something is sexual harassment or not.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
