We think countries like Portugal have shown that treating addiction as a health issue, not a crime, can reduce overdoses, disease, and drug-related crime. We believe punishment fails to address the root causes, and a health-first approach can save money, improve safety, and restore dignity. We believe decriminalisation is a humane, cost-effective path forward.
