We urge the Government to eliminate VAT on hot takeaway food.

Many businesses, including fish and chip shops, are facing severe financial challenges due to the current economic climate. We believe these iconic businesses are vital to local communities and the UK’s cultural heritage. We think removing VAT could provide immediate relief, helping them survive rising costs and continue serving affordable meals to customers.
