Rejected petition Legistate for Transgender safe spaces toilets, hospital wards and refuge centres
To legislate for safe spaces for Trans people to include toilets, hospital wards and refuge centres.
More details
Following the supreme ruling over the the definition of what a woman is in the Equalities Act 2010, Trans people especially women have lost access to safe spaces and as one of the most vulnerable and persecuted communities with one of the highest rates of sexual abuse, rape and violence against them per head, the need for safe spaces is urgently required so they can live their lives in peace and safety.
