This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It's about something that is an operational decision for a governmental or parliamentary body.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about installing a ramp at are a matter for Downing Street, rather than a decision about policy or legislation that is made by the Government or Parliament.

You could start a petition which calls for all Government buildings to have an entrance ramp, and use Downing Street as an example.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
