Since 2018, successive UK governments have promised a ban on conversion therapy and have yet to pass legislation against the practice, which many experts have said amounts to "torture". We believe the current government needs to act immediately to ban anti-LGBTQIA+ conversion therapy.

Labour has committed to banning conversion therapy, however we feel the change has not come soon enough, and we think the government must prioritise a conversion therapy bill that includes protection for trans people.
