Rejected petition Decrease the time gap & starting age of smear testing for women.
Bring down the newly NHS 5 year gap for women's smear testing down as much as possible & to decrease the starting age of 25 to as low as possible
More details
To keep as many women as possible reassured they are clear from cervical cancer & to raise the chances of catching cervical cancer so it can be treated at an early stage in women. A 3 year gap was long enough & now it's been raised to a 5 year gap. The age should be lowering considering the legal age for a women to have sex is 16.
