I am a personal tutor with years of experience. I think that many bright students I work with struggle in exams due to poor memory, not lack of ability. This can lead to grades that don’t reflect their potential or understanding, which I'm concerned can limit their future opportunities.

In a world where information is easily accessible, I think education should focus on applying knowledge, not memorising it. This approach also promotes skills like note-taking and critical thinking.
