While it offers opportunities for connection and companionship, it can also expose users to serious risks — especially when known abusers are allowed to use these platforms anonymously and without restriction.By enacting this legislation, the government can take a vital step in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and holding platforms responsible for the safety of their users.
