Rejected petition Reduce the recurring miscarriage threshold from 3 consecutive losses to 2
Reduce the defined threshold for recurrent miscarriage from 3 consecutive losses to 2, to allow families to access NHS funded testing and treatment earlier and to provide mental and physical support to women experiencing these tragedies.
More details
I believe fertility testing and treatment should be available to women and families who have experienced more than one miscarriage or pregnancy loss to reduce the physical and emotional impact that can contribute to severe trauma. Families should not be expected to experience 3 losses of life before the NHS funds explorative testing or preventative treatment.
