Petition Ban the selling of peanuts from stalls in public areas
Approximately 1 in 50 children in the UK have a peanut allergy. Why does the UK still allow the most common allergen to be sold from stalls in public places? Peanuts can cause reactions that we think are completely preventable if we just stop peanuts from being sold in public spaces.
More details
Steam or smoke from cooking nuts on roasted peanut and almond stalls can carry enough protein to cause symptoms in some individuals. I have seen these stalls in public places, such as in front of an extremely popular museum for children.
