We urge the Government to make a new family visitor visa for close NON-EU relatives of UK residents who are visiting the UK for 6 months or less. We want it to be faster, cheaper, and recognise family ties - unlike the current Standard Visitor visa which we feel treats relatives like tourists.

We feel the current system ignores family connections and can cause real stress. In the EU, family members of citizens are treated as a special category.
